Serena Williams is not the first athlete to lose it. Why everyone picks at her for her actions is beyond me. If this was a NFL or NBA star doing something classless, he would be hailed as a hero!!!
So cut Serena a break already

Give her a break, she was upset to loose to someone she and everybody else knows she should have and can beat.
I think its total BS when people say a mark of a true chanpion is how they handle defeat. This is such crap. A mark of a true champion is how many WINS you have...PERIOD. Who is ever happy about loosing especially when you are at the level she is. Maybe if she was not made to do the news conference right after a tough win she would have had to check her emotions!!!

Serena William is very, very correct! Henin got really lucky cos she drew an opponent that was no where near her in terms of class!! ;o)

I'm a Serena fan and will say -- she got schooled. She showed up out of shape, unpracticed and listless: what did she expect to happen once she faced a top gun like Henin?

I was stunned to see how sullen Serena was after her match. It is important to lose with grace and dignity.

Serena expect sto beat people all the time and without much practice. Maybe she did it before when she was much younger but everything has to come to an end. Its very painful for her to accept but her reign has just ended and to 'smaller 'Henin. Maybe she should leave tennis for now so she can have an exit with dignity like Graf.

she got owned! Henin was running her around the court. I despise that classless lug. She should find an ounce of class for every ounce of her lumbering disgusting ass then maybe she'll give some credit to the better player.
