I suppose that if you tried really hard, you could manage to have a cake that was too chocolatey. However, the amount of chocolate would have to be taken to the point of absurdity, like cement mixer dumping a river of chocolate onto the cake. Realistically, you'll never have a cake with too much chocolate.
Taking this into account, the chocolate-on-chocolate cake at the Prolific Oven comes nowhere close to having too much chocolate.
