MacLaren folds up easily and compactly. The shopping basket is kind of small, but some models have pockets on the hood. The pockets fit all sorts of things - water bottles, sippy cups, diapers... And they are way easier to get to than the shopping basket.

I also like the 5-point restraint system on the Maclaren. The straps never get twisted and hold the child securely. Peg Perego, on the other hand, has a weird restraint system with a little clip that holds the straps to the back of the stroller. I don't think that's safe - the hook can come out easily and then the child can lean and wiggle out of the restraint.

The restraint on the Peg Perego has a plastic clip right in the middle of the back support. If you lower the back for your child to take a nap, the clip will be right at the center of their head - not comfy for the little one!

I like that MacLaren strollers are so easy to maneuver. You can push them with one hand on an uneven pavement!

Peg Perego has a convenient snack tray, so the baby can snack on the way to the park. MacLaren does not have that. The padding on the PegPerego seems cushier too.
