Exists and plays a role in our lives. Prove it.

I'm not a strong Christian, nor am I athiest. Yes it's obvious evolution took place, and yes there are many logical, scientific reasons for this that and the other thing, but what it really comes down to in the end is the "love" that God brings.
Personally, I find religion absolutely fascinating. Christians believe in eternal love and what not, yet the majority of wars throughout history have been based on religion. "Mine is right and yours is wrong." It's bullshit, absolute bullshit.
Yet we fail to recognize what most religions have in common -- one sole creator.
Christians believe in God as one creator, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons even Muslims believe in one creator.
I mean this isn't even touching base with all the other religions in the world, but I mean if there's so many different groups believing in one God is it so different us saying that there is no God when they say there is than them saying their religion is right and another's is wrong? In my honest opinion, it makes us no better than them.
Now of course we should take the bible with a grain of salt, it's thousands of years old and I mean if I think mormonism is a crock of shit I should feel the same way about Christianity.
Yet I believe that the bible has good stories to live by and good morals. If everyone just took a moment and paid attention to teachings of the bible (not every nit picky word of the damn thing) perhaps we could all get along just a little bit better.
This has gone off on an entirely different tangent and I just realized that and I'm sorry, but to answer the topic question I think that there is no "matter-of-fact" proof that God exists, but if we try to live good, honest lives he can exist in everyone of us. I know that sounds terribly cheesy, but really who is anyone to put down another's beliefs?

There can be no proof of something not existing. The burden of proof is on those who make up nonsense, not those who have to listen to it.
There is plenty of scientific evidence of evolution. There's no need to list it here--anyone can simply pick up a high school bio textbook.
