Best young hockey talent: Crosby or Ovechkin?

Crosby, hands down. The kid is 20 going on 35 and Crosby brings a lot more to the table than Ovechkin does. Though it can be argued that Ovechkin has more raw scoring ability than Crosby, Ovechkin does not have the leadership, and playmaking ability that Crosby has shown.
Also if you just base the arguement on stats, it's clear that Crosby is more consistent at putting up the points. Wheras Ovechkin is more of a highlight reel type of player.
One thing is for certain though, they are both absolutely fantastic for the NHL!

uh since he got captaincy of the Pens, Id have to say Crosby. Sure Ovie won the rookie of the year and Crosby didn't, but i still think crosby is better

Crosby should have won the rookie race because the lock out year was OV rookie year and is 2 years older then Crosby
